LotusFX was founded in 2002 with a simple mission: to provide better foreign exchange services than traditional banks. We saw that customers were paying too much in fees and getting poor exchange rates, so we set out to change that.
Starting with a single branch, we've grown to over 60 locations across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Our success comes from our commitment to competitive rates, transparent pricing, and exceptional customer service.

Our Milestones
Lotus FX was established in New Zealand, opening its first branch in St Lukes, Auckland. In the same year, the business expanded into Fiji and became a Super Agent for MoneyGram, laying the foundation for its growth across the South Pacific.
Opened the first Lotus FX branch in Australia, marking an important step in the company’s regional expansion.
Launched the 4D system and mobile app, enhancing operational efficiency and customer convenience.
Launched the Lotus FX website across New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji, strengthening the Group’s digital presence.
Introduced onboard currency exchange services for cruise ship passengers in Auckland, offering greater convenience to international visitors.
